The right link in bio for iOS, Android, and web developers
2 min read
A developer bio should not be a dump of stores. Give people one page that lists every iOS, Android, and web app you maintain.
App Store, Play Store, TestFlight, a website, a docs site, and Discord: that is a normal week for a developer, and a terrible bio.
Your link in bio has one job. It should let a stranger see everything you ship without guessing which store to open. AllApps gives you that page at allapps.page/@yourname.
One page, every platform
Visitors do not care how you packaged the binary. They care whether the app solves their problem.
On an AllApps page you can list:
- iOS apps with a link to the App Store
- Android apps with a Play Store link
- web apps with a URL that opens in the browser
- desktop tools, extensions, and paid utilities
Each card has its own icon and price, so a free web app and a $19 iOS app can sit next to each other without confusion.
What to write in the bio field
Stay specific. "iOS developer" is weaker than "I build calm productivity apps for iPhone." The second line tells a journalist, a user, or a recruiter whether to keep going.
You have 120 characters on AllApps. Use them for audience and category, not for a slogan.
Make the first tap obvious
Every app card has a visit action. That should go to the place where someone can try the product today, not to a press kit.
If an app is waiting for review, link the TestFlight or the web beta and say so in the description. A working demo beats a "coming soon" button.
Pair the bio with a demo and a way to talk
Developers often have a launch video and no place to put it. AllApps can embed YouTube on the public page. You can also collect messages when you want consulting leads, collabs, or bug reports from people who already saw the apps.
Turn the contact form off if you do not want inbox noise. The catalog still works.

Set your developer bio link to an AllApps page and stop rotating store URLs.
